General

Preferences are found by selecting File/Preferences on the menu.In the General settings, there are the following preferences:

Storage directory

This is where internet owl stores all it's information about what web pages it's monitoring.

Start Minimized

This allows Internet Owl to startup but not show it's window. Internet Owl displays as a small icon in the system tray.

Hide to tray on close

Normally, when you click on the X in a window, the program closes.

With this option enabled, Internet Owl won't close - instead it hides in the tray.

Action on double-click

When you double click on a monitored web page, Internet Owl can show the web page in a browser, or display details of the web page.

This preference lets you decide what happens.
