The confirmations preferences screen lets you control when Internet Owl asks for confirmations, or when it displays summary information.

The settings are:

When you delete (remove) a web page - should Internet Owl confirm with you first, or just delete it?

Internet Owl can be setup with an automated schedule. This controls whether Internet Owl checks with you first before checking all web pages for changes.

Optionally displays a small summary of how many pages were checked, and how many were changed.

Clearing all changes tells internet owl that you've seen all the changes it has highlighted. This controls whether Internet Owl confirms that operation.

This controls whether Internet Owl warns you that you are adding a duplicate web page.

Controls whether an empty page is reported as an error.

It is possible to highlight a number of web page entries in the Internet Owl window, double click, and open a new web browser window for each. For some people, that's exactly what they want - multiple windows open. For others, this is unexpected. So, if you'd like to be asked before multiple windows are opened, enable this preference.
